Last day of school! Today passed by so fast! Haha. We had this 'St Margaret's Idol' in the morning in the hall. LOL. Honestly, it was pretty lame. The 'contestants' mainly made up of the sec 1s and there were absolutely no sec 2s. Almost all sang except for two I think. I think one of the best one was Joanna. She sang 'Walking on Sunshine'. You know, the M1 song.
After that we went back to our classrooms. The sec 2s had to do the 'Make it SPOT-less' thing. Basically, cleaning up our classrooms. No idea what the SPOT in the SPOT-less means, nor why they made it capital letters. They ceiling fans in my class were filthy. The blades were literally covered with dust and things. Yuck. And we all had to clean every bit of the classrooms up. Even the top of the OHP screen, which no one would obviously see or check, but they made us clean it up anyway. Oh, and quite a number of us forgot to bring rags and there was ALOT of cleaning to be done. So, Dalvinjit, Divya and I decided to go to the 4th floor to see if there were rags in the toilets cause I remembered that there were some rags there during camp. Then when we went there we saw some rags, but they looked pretty disgusting so we decided to wash them. Then we were gonna leave when they toilet aunties appeared from the back. Divya and I ran laughing away, and we thought Dalvinjit was behind us, but apparently not. Then when she finally appeared, she said that the auntie/aunties kinda scoledd her in chinese but she had no idea what they were saying. Hahahaha. Can you imagine? Hilarious. No worries, we did return the rags after that. But they were pretty grey. Hah.
At like about 11.30, we had this MOTHER TONGUE HOUR. !!! Save my soul. I was expecting worse, but it actually turned out kinda better than expected. At least they switched on the air-con :] Yay them. The Chinese students went to the hall, the Tamil students went to the theatrette and the Malays went to the Performing Arts Studio. In the hall, they had 3 newspaper reporters from the chinese newspaper, Lian He Zao Bao/Xing Qi Wu Zhou Bao/Lian He Wan Bao, to come to speak to us about journalism. I was thinking, yawn much. But it was actually not that bad. The guy was pretty funny, in a lame joking sort of way. Though I couldn't understand him at some point... Anyway, he's like super tall. Pretty funny. He actions are a little... what's the word... erm funny. Haha. They showed us pictures they took, some not even published in the papers. Some where SOOO gross!! Like this guy went down to the MRT track to get his shoe... And I don't think you wanna know.
They spoke for about like 40mins and guess who came? Two campus superstars: Renfred and Theresa (hope I spelt her name right). People were like screaming oh so loud! They are just people you know. So they screamed. And screamed. And screamed. Then one of the reporters asked them some questions about you know, stuff. Then they sang a song each. Renfred's SO shy. Even when he sang. Theresa is like so sweet. She kept saying thank you whenever people screamed. Haha. Cute cute. The school gave them a bouquet of flowers (???) and a thing (I heard it was a teddy bear?). And Mother Tongue hour was over.
Ohmygosh ohmygosh ohmygosh. Tomorrow's the Meet-The-Parents thing! I can't remember my time slot!! Faint. My mom's sure it's somewhere in the late morning. Crap. I think we'll just go early and wait. Haha. Dammit. I just remembered. You know smth? I didn't bring my IH file today and my IH teacher, whom I think, was in a bad mood, made everyone who did not bring, to copy TWO CHAPTERS FROM OUR HISTORY TEXTBOOK!! BY MONDAY! And the best part, I did not even hear the damn announcement that we had to bring the thing. IF you people are in sec 1 or 2, flip your oh so thick History textbook to chapter 4 and 5. Two of the longest chapters ever. What fun I shall have copying the whole lot. Actually, a few of us are not gonna do the thing, cause it's just way unreasonable. But who knows? Maybe she'll get even more mad and make us copy more chapters. Oh well. Risks.
